Eligibility
Persons who require 24-hour nursing support or “Intermediate / Complex Care” are eligible to live at Rosewood Manor.
How to Apply
Funded
If you are living in the community, contact your Home Health office for further information about long-term care home access in Vancouver Coastal Health: (604) 278-3361
If you are in the hospital, contact the hospital social worker. An assessment of your health will be done by their staff.
The Priority Access wait list is managed by VCH Home Health Office.

Private
If you are living in the community and do not qualify for a funded bed at this time, contact the Executive Director to inquire about the private wait list (604-271-3590, ext. 123).
Calculating Cost
The cost of having your loved one in care under VCH funded bed is approximately 80% of their monthly income.
This amount is determined per your previous year’s income tax return.
Your Case Manager/Social Worker will be able to help you determine the amount you will have to pay.
Moving In
You will only be contacted by a staff member of Rosewood Manor once Vancouver Coastal Health offers you a bed at Rosewood Manor.
All inquiries about your loved one’s assessment and status of the waitlist should be directed to your Case Manager or Social Worker.
