COVID-19/ Outbreak Protocols

Visitation:

Visitors must sign in, into the logbooks located at each entrance. Active screening of visitors and staff is no longer in place.

Masks:

Masks are available at all entrances and nurse’s stations. Mask use is optional for both visitors and staff. 

Respiratory Illness Season
As we enter respiratory illness season, please sanitize your hands frequently and visit another time if you are feeling unwell. 90% of residents have been vaccinated for flu. During flu season (Dec 1-Mar 31) Masks are required for staff and volunteers who have not had the flu shot. Visitors who have not received the vaccine are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

Gastro-intestinal (GI) Illness

GI symptoms include, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you experience two or more episodes of diarrhea within a 24-hour period OR two or more episodes of vomiting within a 24-hour period; OR one episode each of vomiting and diarrhea in a 24-hour period do not visit until 48 hours after your last symptom. Do not share or handle food with your resident until 72 hours after your last symptom..
