Moving In
You will only be contacted by a staff member of Rosewood Manor once Vancouver Coastal Health offers you a bed at Rosewood Manor.
A tour will be provided to you along with our admission package to help transition you or our loved on into care and in to the Rosewood Manor community.
- Each room comes with a two-piece ensuite bathroom.
- Rooms are furnished with an electric bed, a dresser, a nightstand with a lockable drawer, a table and a chair. We encourage our residents to decorate their rooms with personal possessions such as photos, artwork, and other items to make their room unique to them.
- Room furnishings must not impede care tasks and create safety risks, any items wishing to be brought in must be approved by Rosewood Manor staff.
The move in process does not stop on the move in day, we work closely with our residents and loved ones to learn about our residents and integrate their wishes, preferences, and needs into daily living at Rosewood Manor.
All inquiries about your loved one’s assessment and status of the waitlist should be directed to your Case Manager or Social Worker.
