Respiratory Illness Season
As we enter respiratory illness season, please
sanitize your hands frequently and visit
another time if you are feeling unwell.
90% of residents have been vaccinated for
flu.
During flu season (Dec 1-Mar 31) Masks are
required for staff and volunteers who have
not had the flu shot.
Visitors who have not received the vaccine
are strongly encouraged to wear a mask

Gastro-intestinal (GI) Illness

GI symptoms include, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you experience two or more episodes of diarrhea within a 24-hour period OR two or more episodes of vomiting within a 24-hour period; OR one episode each of vomiting and diarrhea in a 24-hour period do not visit until 48 hours after your last symptom. Do not share or handle food with your resident until 72 hours after your last symptom..
